Why start a book blog?

Hmmm, why am I starting a book blog...

I once was an avid reader, reading alllllllll the time, but recently I feel I haven't had the time to read. Or in other words not made the time to read, but I would like to get back to being the book geekette that I used to be. 

So, this year, I have decided to give myself the task of reading 50 books.  Well at least trying to read 50 books.  So, I thought that I would create this blog, at the moment for myself, to keep up with what books I read and my opinion on them (whether that be positive or negative).  But also if i gain any 'followers' for them to see what books I have read and whether, in my opinion, they should read them too and perhaps to participate in some book challenges.
